Is there a possibility of turning off industries totally in OTTD or maybe partially? I prefer using just passenger and mail and get annoyed by industries popping up everywhere, so i thought if there may be a better solution than just ignoring the industries. Is there a tool or setting to turn industries off (i tried to look for one but couldnt find it)?
Would be great to hear Your comments and suggestions on this!

Manual Industries NewGRF will surely work.
