Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Could you take a screenshot of your NewGRF list for me?
Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
ok the trees problem is fixed: silly me i didn't show the trees
all the GRFs i have in my list are the ones i could download using the Dowload System, or that were with the scenario
i'm sure it's some stupid fault...

On the build station GUI there is a drop down arrow on the right hand side that allows you to choose which station set to select to build from. Based on your screenshot you are only using the default stations.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Newbies.
1) Brig-Glis station, complete with arriving BLS shuttle from the Loschental region, SBB train from Geneva and a passenger service arriving through the Simplon tunnel from Domodossola. Also here, the street station of the FOB (Furka Oberalp Bahn), where a Glacier Express train sits.
2) A much quieter scene at Gampel, where a solitary SBB train makes its arrival on the return leg to Geneva.
3) Our BLS train from Brig meets us up the mountain here at Goppenstein. Here, cars are loaded onto trains in order to be ferried through the Lotschberg tunnel towards Kandersteg. It is this tunnel that our shuttle train will plunge into after departing Goppenstein.

Marvellous screenshots!
Still, I find it peculiar that all those Swiss inhabitants have decided to have Swedish flags...

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Very impressive screenshots!
One question: How do you manage that the North American Roads Set also appears on the Total Bridge Renewal Set? I'm using North American Roads Set v1.0 and the Total Bridge Renewal Set v1.12 and the bridges have still the usual surface.
Edit: I'm sorry for interrupting this beautiful thread. I found the grf by my own.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
So, it begins here. My new scenario, complete with Infrastructure Sharing. Here's a little sneak peak of the very start of it.
1) A shot of Engelberg, where the Zentralbahn operate the LSE (Lucerne-Stans-Engelberg) service.
2) A map showing how the SBB and the Zentralbahn share the station at Lucerne. Also visible is the construction of the Brunigbahn.
[EDIT] Can't be bothered to re-take them so they appear. Will re-size from now on though.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Can anyone shed any light on how to improve the signalling at this junction(s)? The two lines to the south of Horw are single track lines (double track at passing loops etc), and they both need to be able to get into Lucerne station. It seems to cause a few pile-ups.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
The signal that moderates trains entering the station would cause a jam, because it could block the junction if a train was entering. Just my thoughts.... And also the signal that moderates the trains leaving the station to Horw causes the junction within the station area to be jammed.
The signals I am referring too are the trains to and from Horw

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
I'd lose the 1-way pbs signals between the 2 junctions and simplify the point work at that bottom junc near the tankers.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
I would recommend removing the 2 pbs signals closest to Horw and adding another two one-way-pbs signals between the 2 junctions, and simplyfying the middle junction

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Ok, with my map coming along, I would like to propose a IMAGINARY Swiss TT-Forums Meet, in the city of Lucerne. As travel costs should not be an option, I'm hoping for a good turn-out. Possible day-trips include trips to nearby winter resorts.. so bring your skis and snowboards
The hotel is paid for already, so all I need from you is a) where you are coming from and b) your preferred mode of transport (car, plane+train, plane+car etc) . I'll start the ball rolling, as I'll by flying into Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport from Heathrow, and making the most of the efficient public transport network to get there.
The whole event shall be HyperCammed, so try and be a bit interesting with your routes.
