Union Pacific Special Paint Job

Post by Railwaymodeler »

I found this unit from the Union Pacific most interesting, as my dad is council program director for the Boy Scouts, and I do a lot of work for them too.

Glad to see a railroad honoring 100 years of Scouting this way!

Now I can't wait for the model to come out. Granted I won't run a GeVo on my layout, but it would make a very nice display piece!

They could have painted in a scheme similar to the boyscout's colors, and it would have looked A LOT better.

DB-S really went for it giving outgoing boss Keith Heller a leaving gift. They named a locomotive after him and repainted it in Canadian National red with a maple leaf, on account of Heller being a Canuck. The model is on it's way, apparently (tho a limited run of just ten) :)
