I've gathered all the savegames and generated screenshots (at different resolutions) here. It will be occasionally updated. It also 'contains' already obsoleted entries.
Please note that all but two entries complied with the rules. Most are using AIs, some are using NewGRFs or are way too big. This information can also be found in the before mentioned page.
I'm considering making a tar/zip of all the images for the 'final' entries once the deadline has passed, but this file would probably become pretty big. The screenshots I uploaded already total 110 MiB, about 8 MiB per entry. Nevertheless, the pregenerated screenshots in a single archive should making looking through them much easier than going through several webpages.

Where do I see that my game uses AIs?

Remove all AIs from OpenTTD's "search path", that is in most cases move the AIs out of the $homedir/[.]openttd/content_download/ai directory. Then start OpenTTD with -d ai=1. So that means the info a savegame stores info about AIs is not to do with whether AIs have been loaded in that game, but down to whether AIs were available for OpenTTD to use when the game was started?

It takes the 'global' (the one you set in the main menu) AI configuration and applies that to new games. Maybe the (crude) test could be tweaked and the AI could be cleaned from the savegames, that shouldn't be that hard to do. I'll look into redoing that part of the evaluation.

Here's my try; I tried to include as much as I could but it looks little bit bloated to me. The map should be OK up to resolution 2560x1600. Suggestions and feedback welcome!

Hmm... how about a little less rail and some ships and airports instead?

Changed the 'rule' of 'no unknown AIs in the configuration' to 'max competitors = 0' for the 'uses AI' information in the listing. This means that lots of savegames now comply, although they need a bit of cleaning before adding them to the 1.0 branch. I've also added Vitus' savegame.

I think I have plenty of aircrafts, however I don't have enough space for an airport (without redoing huge part of the map). There's a heliport, though.neg wrote:Hmm... how about a little less rail and some ships and airports instead?
Destroyed one train line as you suggested and added more ships.

One question - I know that the rules stated that we are not to use the "Switch Climate > Build Other factories from other climates" but am I able to make an exception for in the case of building an Oil Rig in the Arctic Climate?

NO. If the industry can not be built by the game without cheating then NO.

All sound from a game save are audioble, which gets really annoying after awhile. All the bells, horns, plane take offs and landings, and of corse, the cha-chings.

@ZeroMD, i love it, if i am not forgetting anything then this is my favorite one thous far.
simple and elegant design no forcibly complicated stuff, nice location and verity of everything.
few suggestions:
1. maybe you should a 2 bus stations in the city so something will be moving there as well
2. one heli to the oil rig.
3. change cmpany collors to something else so there will be less merge(?) with environment.
p.s. that oil refinery is very far from the edge
but i dont think its will be a problem.

1. There are already 3 bus stops and 1 busstation in the city
2. Why should I remove 1 of the 2 helis?

I haven't tested it, but the map will probably be very empty on an 800x600 screen, try filling the middle of the screen up (near the train station below the airport).
