Yes, the server has been having quite a few problems lately, so there will be lots of desyncs. Just wait until bigos fixes it.

I'm afraid I can't do anything more then update to trunk :( I really don't know what cause those desyncs. Need to find someone who can help fix them. Thats strange that me and Konrad don't have desyncs... all other have.

Try adding each patch individually, then see which one causes desyncs.

You are playing with breakdowns turned off and all the others are playing with it turned on? You are starting the server and both joining before any vehicle gets made and the others are joining when vehicles are made?
There's lots of simple reasons why stuff wouldn't work and testing all patches at once is certainly a good way to get lost in finding what causes the problem.

I haven't got any desync, on my stacionary PC. But using weaker notebook I have Desyncs all the time.
On staciory I am using vista 64bit, on notebook xp 32. But I think that only hardware is a problem.
Suggest make smaller map instead of 1024x512.

Edit. Now game restarded. No active players on companies, so game paused. I connected by stacionary comp and 2nd client is from laptop. Desyncs from laptop still. Even game pazued, no vechicles etc.

Breakdowns are safe. They dont cause desyncs in such sensitivity like we have now. Problem is in tracks. I have 2 patches that works at tracks and they cause desyncs (I'm almost sure).
I will remove "Patch: Grass growth on unused tracks" and see how it works (unfortunately property maintenance patch is biggest problem and I don't want to remove it). Best idea will be when costs for tracks will be only checked by server and sent result to clients (this will solve problems with connections or computers performance differences - in my opinion cause of desyncs ) but I don't know how to write such function. Would be grate if someone help me in this.

Have you thought about adding my disable/limit terraform patch

It sets a monthly limit for terraforming of which some is preserved - see http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 6&start=0&

the patch is at http://www.tt-forums.net/download/file.php?id=118288 and compiles with svn r18195

Interesting patch, are you going to continue to keep it up-to-date?

I decided to set server on nightly (r18309) so we have base for other patches. Would be grate if you join server and make company as big as you can... Tomorrow if we will have many companies I will try load game on patched versions and then check desyncs.

EDIT: changed to current trunk.

No results... People with desyncs didn't shown up yet... or they cant connect. Maybe this evening will be more players. Changed version to current trunk.
