Improved Property Maintenance
For now it:
- adds monthly costs per depot
- adds monthly costs per track
- adds monthly costs per signal

Hmm I for one don't want to run my vehicles until they break down before paying for service and repairs on them...bigos wrote:You don't pay for each visit in depot. The entire break down concept should be changed. Companies with good service on there vehicles simply don't have any break downs. Well they have few but you can surely get like 99%+ uptime on your vehicles fleet if you spend enough money on service and new vehicles IRL.
Aircraft should also not break down they should be stopped before take-off if there is more then 1 in a million chance of this anything going wrong in the flight...

You are right but I'm not so good to rewrite whole break down mechanism. This payment its more like fee for replacing parts that broken in last breakdown. I was thinking about making payment for each lost point from max. reliability of train - that will be more close to your "maintenance on there stuff before it breaks" concept but its still not perfect. Vehicle Repair Cost update - now cost of repair is also substract from "Profit this year:" in vehicle Details window.

Have a read of the topic stickied that says "How to apply a patch/diff file"

Made new version of Additional Tax Patch - there was small probability that it can crush game. Also added ~1 year free from tax after company creation. File in first post.

There is new version of Additional Tax Patch - version 0.1 (r18159). Pushed by players that a lot of cash is waste I have added that all collected cash from taxes is assign to create new random industry. The price of such industry is 8 times bigger then normal (so single player game had to have company value ~1mln pounds to create 1-2 industry monthly from tax). I need you opinion if its to much - or industries should be more expensive.

Could you update all your patchfiles in the first post, I tried appling them to the latest trunk, but there are some failed hunks.

Here, when I meant update the files, I meant all of them, IBC.diff doesn't work:
