That's a long voyager! Nice shots though, I'm liking these train yard style setups, rather than just a depot attached to the line.

Nice little renovation you have there! But I guess that the citizens didn't love you much for destroying their city center.

Thanks though with the amount i gave them to compensate for the damages i dont think they mind that much, Plus the fact that i have just made a huge motorway and bus service £300 million a year and using 100 buses.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
Fair warning: Your town may refuse to grow, or the population may even decrease, if your town center (the area directly beneath the town name) contains a station or other user created stuff. The exceptions to this being a drive through road station and/or a company statue. The reason for this behavior is that town growth away from the town center is dependent on being connected to the town center by roads.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
After starting a new map i decided that i wasnt going to do just passengers anymore, but still run the main part of my buisness from them. So after finding two coal mines close together i linked them to my main line and built a fleet of type 2s'. i may of used the money and the increase in production cheat but only beacuse i really didnt want to start from scratch again. But i did put all he borrowed oney into city

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
Why don't you used path signals? They work perfect for me....
One advice on stations - put some warehouses/truck parking/etc. here and there - a little eye candy can only help

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
Ill have a look at path signals, but id never heard of them before so thank you that advice. And as for the stations ill start doing that i just build the basic station then build it up from there, but that is on the list. And the GRF list is the attachment its the same for both of them i think its just that the other one i put all the GRFs i have on.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
What i really need is diagonal bridges but i dont think they've ever been done or that its possible. But if it has can you tell me please because i have the ideal route for them. And same with tunnels. And ill post tunnels and bridges tomorrow.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
And more effective networks, too. I see one passenger train out of 4 lanes on this mainline. Does these ore trains all leave in the south exit? then tunnel them directly over the other line
If not, you can at least remove the front parts of the station and create entrances for the platforms.
And no, there aren't diagonal bridges/tunnels.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
Theres actually 2. a fast multi-city train and the local passenger DMU, but yes its a example of over anticipating the needs of the city. But i do need to tidy it up a bit. Which ill post after.

Re: [OTTD] Ferretscouts screenshots
In your new junction, remove the signals nearest the platforms - they don't add anything and may allow the junction to be blocked.

After Major Work Tendington North Reopens
After major work and the demolishion of Tendington village, the largest station of Panley Transport has reopened.
The much needed improvements took nearly a year and involved the removal of nearly 1,000,000 tonnes of earth.
The project frees the mainline from the constant stream of coal trains and allows the power station to continue supplying the nearby villages through the major changes that are expected to happen as people flock towards the South-East coast.

New Plans Announced
New plans were unveiled today for massive new additions to Panley Transports rail network.
The plans involve linking multiple cities to the mainline and creating a huge amount of tourism for the South-East coast.
The general responce from citizens was that the plans are welcome Christmas present for the city.
The plans announced on Christmas Eve aren't expect to cause major delays on the mainline.
