Why don't large UFO's ever land on the AI's tracks?

A little offtopic, but still these questions are important for me:
The description: in the current game, that I'm playing, I've seen that small UFO has hit an (Admiral) AI's truck to it's death... And when I've loaded my last save, I've got the message (after some seconds) that Zeppelin got crushed on the AI's airport (this save were made by me unknowingly)...
"Were these things in the previous versions (it seems that I've seen something like this in version 6.3, but I'm not so sure) or it's just a new feature???" "It's only me who sees the "bugs" or they were for the real???"

Edit: AI's aircraft haven't made a big boom, it's just flying in a circle near this airport, may be it's just waiting the runway to be clear now??? Heh...

Zeppelins (as well as all other disasters) have already been in the original game, they have not been changed in OpenTTD

The have been changed a bit, since the small UFO and the zeppelin now can choose AIs airports.
