Looks good! :)

What's the status of this project? Is there any sort of 'list' of things to include? I'd be quite interested in getting back into pixel art-work for TTD at the moment.

The status of the project is... I dunno. In progress, but not really going anywhere.

As for what needs doing? Ideally, every single building or object that does exist, has existed and will exist in, on and around any British railway.

Of course, the above causes severe testicular cancer, so instead, we won't do that. I would recommend drawing any you deem significant from the rail network;

Kings Cross, Manchester Piccadilly, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, whatever takes your fancy. This set isn't planned, isn't organised and isn't very good at jokes, so draw whatever the heck you feel like drawing. It's open to anyone who wishes to contribute. This not only means sprites, but information, ideas, rain coats, pictures and the all illusive...

Those are pretty nice.

I just thought id post this now- i dont mean to hijack your thread-

but as some of you know i've been working on a british stations set.

For now it only includes old british station buildings and platforms. It is very nearly done really (coding too) (but then how many projects get stuck a nearly done!). Maedhros was coding it however as some of you may know he is very busy and it might be a while before he gets the chance to finish it.

However- in the mean time- i have been trying to learn to code myself. To practice with i started to do some industrial stations that could go with my set- and i drew a goods shed.
I've been getting on alright- even little crates of goods appear at the entrance when there are goods waiting!
you can see a screenshot below. (Completely OT-but how good is zimmlocks factory- i found a test version of it in the ECS thread earlier)

With regards to your work-

I really like that water tower (i think thats what it is!??- although you can;t see it too well against those platforms- maybe they would look good against my dirt platforms?

I also quite like that station you did. i saw it a long time ago but was never in a position do do anything- however i could probably code it myself if you wanted it in my set. (although i am still only learning!) There are a few issues with it however- im not sure about the bridge. i know its realistic, but i think it would cause lots of problems- compatability with road sets for example- and maybe if you could draw it as a footbridge- in the style of the blue and white steps? it would look better i think. My ststions are based on real stations- but are not 100% accurate by any means- so i dont think it would be a problem. I will have a closer look when i can- check it for scale in comparrison with my buildings and the like. I do want to keep some continuity within my set which is why i haven't really opened it up to the "public"- but i do like the idea of a nice covered wooden footbridge...

just thought id put it to you. Good work!

I'll take that into account, cheers. (-:

Also, here's the watertower on it's own. Feel free to use or modify it however you wish.

Great work 2-10-0. And MPH. Oh, and Ron, we would love you back into the BR Set. It has been quite over the summer although I think it will probably chirp up again with winter coming.
