Editing gm_tt10.gm from TTDX windows version to fix silence

Post by mwyeoh »

For those that want to edit out the long silence at the end of the track gm_tt10.gm from the windows version of tycoon, I found this great website which you can use

http://midi.mathewvp.com/midiTrim.php

First, you need to upload the file to the website, you dont need to rename the file or anything
Then you need to input the start/stop times (sec)

The magic numbers are
Start - 0 (obviously), and
Stop - 226

Then click on create midi, and it will crop it to the right lengths
Then click on save, and it will open a download link for you, still in the gm file format. Simply replace the existing file, and presto- no more long pause at the end of the song
gm_tt10.zip
Heres one I did earlier
(13.92 KiB) Downloaded 182 times

Wow, great work... I think the first one is the best one
It is a little less "oblivius" in my opinion... But still, nice work mayn!
