Link to Google translate
I (and other native english speakers) may not understand some of the posts that are posted by our foreign friends, but can we please have a link to Google translate (and a subsequent post in the news thread)?
I am having to report posts that are do make sense not (deliberate) or that are complete gibberish.
Alternately, a mini - forum for non english speaking members can be created, and a group of translators 'appointed' to moderate and translate the posts, and subsequently add them to the main forums, or reply to the posts.

How would you suggest the translate feature work within the forum?
As for the sub-forum, it sounds liek a LOT of work, and you then have to think of ALL of the possible languages people might speak, otherwise it might be seen as unfair.

not a feature - a LINK
Re: Link to Google translate
Well then, a link, the question still stands, exactly WHAT do you propose?
A link in the news forum to a translator website?

Re: Link to Google translate
What exactly are you wanting to be linked? And where? If there are posts that aren't in English, they shouldn't be posted (or should have a translation posted with them), otherwise, the moderators should remove them. No need for Google Translate.

Re: Link to Google translate
I don't recall seeing too many reports about non-English posts. I daresay looking at most of the posts that people report for 'terrible english' they were probably spat out by Google Translate anyway - not much we can do about that, unless you want to donate to help set up a TT-Forums English education course!
