Open ttd on win 98

hii, i wanted to play ttdx on my old notebook (WIN 98!!) , of cause with open ttd ( because its more handy...).

But if i try to install open ttd , the pc tells me it won't run on win 98

I need your help!!! FASt plzz

Yes, you'd need the win9x version, not the win32 version

What don't you understand in the error message?

This version of OpenTTD doesn't run on Windows 95/98/ME.
Please download the win9x binary and try again.

To me it sounds like you need to download the win9x binary, instead of the win32 binary that you've downloaded.

To be honest, since Win98 does, to my knowledge, run on a 32bit system, downloading the 32bit version would make sense if I didn't notice the win9x version. Perhaps a slight rewording, maybe something to:

Win32(2000/XP/03/Vista)
Win32(9x/ME)

may make more sense. I added the ME because not everyone is aware it is part of the Windows 9x family.
