This is quite nice. It makes a huge contrast on the openGFX terrain there tho, because openGFX is known to be darker than original anyway
Maybe you could also try some your own ground for them... If I'm right, you are using toyland ground?
PS: And I stopped the propaganda to support Dave Worley since he got a nice new red hat now.[/color]
I know I have a BBCode error in my signature but I really cba to fix it.
Also, how do you plan to get this into TTDPatch/OpenTTD if it's not done in TTD palette? You either have to convert it to the TTD palette, or provide some 8bit placeholder grf and do it as 32bpp .tar. In the latter case it would work in OpenTTD only though...
* @Belugas wonders what is worst... a mom or a wife...
<Lakie> Well, they do the same thing but the code is different.

For TTDPatch, I can make 256 color conversion. The results are okay, though it's not as superb . For OTTD, I don't know what is and how to make 8bit placeholder grf and .tar. I'm really pathetic when it comes to coding .
You should consider shifting complete palette several tones towards darker colours or you would have to redo complete TTD graphics in your style to make it look really good.

It looks like 24 bpp, but after applying a TTD palette, it still looks quite OK (or even better, thanks to some randomizing). No guarantee that it doesn't contain any action colors, though.
I really appreciate your drawing style! I hope this makes it to a complete set. The best (for me at least) would of course be a 32bpp tar for openttd, to keep those very light colours. As for coding, I would have helped you, but I tried myself out at grf coding and never managed to do better than replace an engine
Anyway, I wish you good luck with this set!
2 Construction stages for all of my w2w buildings .
EDIT : I have set a poll to determine what is the recommended construction stage. If you choose SC style, I'll keep these graphics. If you choose others, I have to draw construction stages again using that style .
EDIT 2 : Repaired

it's a bit weird that the buildings are wall-to-wall but the construction stages aren't? so the supporting walls don't actually have a foundation? I'm not sure I'd like to live there
I'm actually too lazy to include every construction stages for all (I will make 20) w2w buildings, so I had to make general construction stages, like Simutrans and SC3000.

Don't know what tools you use. I just opened your picture in Paint Shop Pro, and choose Colors -> Load palette, and that's it. There's no guarantee that action colors are not generated unless you have a special 'conversion palette' where all the action colors are set to background blue.
I created the palette file by opening an 'approved' pcx file and choosing Colors -> Save Palette.

I understand that, but if all your buildings are wall-to-wall, then it makes sense that your generic construction sprites are also wall-to-wall? at least, it makes sense to me
Hey, nice buildings which have their own, very distinct style!
