Newbie seeks best graphic quality

Post by fishgills »

Hey guys!

So I played TTD maybe like 10 years ago or so and found this so though, awesome, time to get addicted to crack again. ;)

Anyway, originally I played some old 15 inch CRT way back when and I understand that it's still an old game with old graphics and all but any recommendations on getting the best graphic quality/easy to read? I'm using 1920X1080 on a 40 inch LCD TV and some of the text is hard to read that small.

Any suggestions?

Go full-screen and try some other resolutions. Maybe something like 1680x1050, which I'm currently using; it reads quite pleasantly.

I'm @ 1280x720 on my 42" plasma. Though I ran at 800x600 for the first few days to get the hang of things.

1360*768 fullscreen on my 40" Full-HD works fine for me.

Is this the "i want to brag about my 6 meter screen, but i am so blind that pixels need to be 1 m^2" topic?

i can't find any other justification for this thread, because so many other people are fine with their 1680x1050 resolution on their 22" screen, which appears to be the standard right now.
