I think there are a couple of train sets with car transporters today. Please check out TTDPatch´s graphics page or better GrfCrawler.FelipeMazza89 wrote:a car transporter train wagon for goods
I remember I have car transporters (transporting "goods") in my sets, too (cargoset, DB set, DBXL).

Actually one more thing, is there any way of taking parts out of one set and adding it to another. What I mean is I use the UK train set at the moment, I would like to keep that set but add things to it from other sets, is that possible at all, get back to me when you can.

Short answer: Unless you know NFO Coding and can cut up the sprite sheets, yes. If you can't do NFO Coding and sprite sheet cutting, no.FelipeMazza89 wrote:Actually one more thing, is there any way of taking parts out of one set and adding it to another. Long answer: GRF's are made up of two files, a .nfo, which tells the game what everything is and what it does, and a sprite sheet which has all the graphics. If you can find all the different things you want and can cut them out of both the NFO and Sprite sheet, then you can happily do so. However, you cannot, and i would like to emphasize that, distribute it without the permission of the original creators.
Hope that helps.

I don't know I think you can use 2 sets at once on ottd but the problem with that is for some reason the sound is crackly and it runs a bit slow on my computer so can't use it, thats why i've been wondering if it is possible on the ttdp. Its a shame aswell because ottd look well good compared with all the extra features you get.

Ok thankyou, and yes that has helped I appreciate it, and to be honest I wouldn't know where to start with coding and sprites etc. I wish I could learn but it all sounds too hard, because would love to contribute to the game and make sets for myself aswell. Thankyou AgainSkeedR wrote:Short answer: Unless you know NFO Coding and can cut up the sprite sheets, yes. if simply replying to others using one post instead of (against regulations) having to reside to double- or even tripleposting already is too hard, you can indeed count out coding.FelipeMazza89 wrote:I wish I could learn but it all sounds too hard
