making ulities
ttdopen 6.3 has no buying, making of ulities, just shows what they produce. In ttd2 you could do this,
when playing I find that if you do not supply they dissappear and you have no way of replacement, has others been in this position

1) Those are neither valid names for any game I know nor valid version numbers for any game discussed on these forums.1eoj wrote:ttdopen 6.3 ... ttd2
2) This is Forum Suggestions and Feedback. As in, feedback on how these forums could be more useful to you. I'd start by suggesting that you post in the section that is for discussing the game with which you are having problems.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I'm assuming this is meant to be an OpenTTD suggestion.

Re: making ulities
Maybe this is what you mean:
Go to Patches, Economy, "Manual primary industries construction method", set to "as other industries"
Try service like translate.google.com, maybe we will be able to help you better if we understand your question.

Ulities?
Uh... Uh...
I really don't understand what you're saying buddy. I don't want to make fun of you for your English but at this point I'm laughing out loud because I just read that thing 10 times and I have no idea what it meant. I know, I know, I'm a terrible person.
Anyway, don't feel bad, because Dalestan is a much better person than I am and he'll guide you on your way. Simply send him a flirtatious personal message and I'm sure he'll help you figure things out.

Rubber Plantation => Tire factory
Duh.
Tire factories are the most important ulity in game. Can't run anything without em. Buses and trucks need them to roll, planes need them to roll and trains need them to... um.... roll?

He didn't say "roll on" he just said "roll". He might be talking about the wheels. Wikipedia can be your friend.Alberth wrote:Actually, trains roll on steel rather than rubber

I know I'm in no position to nitpick, but man, we haven't even hit 0.6.2 yet... and TTDOpen? Tennis tourney anyone? Carrying on...1eoj wrote:ttdopen 6.3
As stated, within the many green-red rectangles in the annals of the "Configure Patches" window, you can choose whether to let OTTD build all industries by itself, or whether to let you outright purchase industries, or to do it a la Wild Wild West and prospect for industries.1eoj wrote:has no buying, making of ulities, just shows what they produce.
Okay, okay, ttd2??? Now you must be doing the Dr. Who thing... Can I borrow the booth to go back to Jan 2008 and change the Super Bowl a tad?1eoj wrote:In ttd2 you could do this,

As a matter of fact, I have noticed that, and another odd event that I may have to go report on, but i'm not in the hijacking mood.
Re: making ulities
Umm, you mean the industry clousures, just build a new industry, for about 1 to 5 hundred thousand u.s. dollars.
