General talk about Transport Tycoon that isn't specific to TTD, TTDPatch or OpenTTD.

Yes but that's old news. I believe the expansion is even out already.
That site hasn't been updated for ages.

Wacky Worlds was released recently. We still don't know what this other project is though - I don't think it is an expansion pack for RCT2, as he was working on two projects before RCT2 announced - we knew RCT2 was one of them, but I don't think the RCT2 expansion would be the other.

If he's working on TT2, there would be a real transport games explosion: Transport Giant, Railroad Tycoon 3, TT2, our own project (although that's gonna take some more time).

Yes, there is an explosion of just about every type of game
We'll need to make good choices, I won't buy all of them
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

One thing though

What if chris sawyer does make TT2 but does a crap job just to make our wallets floppy

So even if chris sawyer makes a sequel it does not mean it will be good

Well, his site was updated earlier this month to announce RCT2: WW. Maybe we'll get news of TT2 sometime soon... *sigh*

Hopefully it won't be just another minor upgrade of the x86 assembler. Give us some real programs for once :P
Bugzilla available for use - PM for details.

Let's just hope for the best. i bet that Chris is a very busy man, designing all these games and everything, that he just doesn't have time to continue on Transport Tycoon 2, but instead does Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 add on. Ah well, roll on 2004!!!

chris sawyer's games seem to become crappier by the sequel

RCT2 removed sooooo many good features out of RCT1 and the game did not have many new features it just gets crappier and crappier........
