Where can I buy Transport Tycoon?

General talk about Transport Tycoon that isn't specific to TTD, TTDPatch or OpenTTD.

Well, yes, but if you were taken to court over it, I doubt it's hold much weight.

Yes he did - it's commonly known as "The Drexler Patch", and can be found here.

No. I prefer Josef spending his time on TTD.

Thats why I'm removing it when I'm old enough to be taken to court...

Do you seriously think they'll take you to court over it? If they do anything, they'll send you an e-mail asking you to remove it - only if you persistantly refuse and the web host can't/won't remove it will you perhaps be taken to court.

The files aren't on my servers anyway. So it has nothing to do with me. Providing the links isn't as bad as hosting them. I don't think they care anymore anyway. They moaned at me once. And never said anything again. :o

and even you could win in a court .... as a main reason said that you cannot buy the Windows version of TTD (or even DOS) in your country

or (as me and most of us) that I have DOS version but I needed Win version to get it work on XP/2000 ...

I can bet I could win

So they discontinued the Tycoon Collection? Because TTD for Windows comes with it. That's where I got it, about a year or two ago. If they did, then yes, there's nowhere you can buy it anymore. Sadly. Oh well, free TTD for everyone! :D
