I agree with Andel, Owen should have announced the move in some other way, maybe a global announcement like Andel suggested or a post in the news section. I guess most people read the latter anyway as it is quite important.

Having said that, I'm quite happy with the move as LoMo has it's own community within TT-F while the O)TTD(P sections do some sharing (not much, but some members cross-over between the sections) and thus they feel better at the top. It also seems that there are mostly people from the TTD sections going to the off-topic area and thus it seems more logic to move the closed-community-LoMo-section out of the way and put the more shared communities together.

hey andel, give it up. they will only see what they want to see. thats all. they are all people who never complained about the order. and this is why this forum is now dis-organized. nobody ever complained. that is the main-reason for this.

thanks owen. you know what you do.
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.

seelenquell.pytalhost.com has been reactivated from 16/07/28 till 18/05/31.. now it´s deactivated. at least there..

Since we are all talking about forums reorganisation and stuff, why not move this section (Forum Suggestions and Feedback) to the 'Read these first' section.

It both suits this topic and Andels complaint. And in fact is in my huble opinion a logical thing todo since it's about the forums as a whole.

I don't see it as dis-organised, why not? Because the sections with more hits are on top. Is that dis-organised? I think it's logical.

I think the whole situation is crap. The forums re-organisation is right and certain members of the Lomo community are wrong to be having a pop, but I think andel is wholly within his right to complain about the lack of notice given.

And where is the games topic?

Seconded.

Owen wanted to wait with the games part of the reorganisation because he wanted the mods to cast their opinion. :)

Well, as I've said to Andel in private, I didn't think that the reorganisation was going to be significant enough to require a form of global notification or similar. My reasoning was that people would think, "hmm, where are the Loco forums?", scroll down, and see them in their new home. Coupled with the fact Andel himself posted a thread about it in the General Loco forum, and that there's this thread here, I figured people would work it out. If it turns out I'm wrong, then I apologise, and should anything similar happen in the future, I'll give a bit more warning.

I was waiting for the opinion of other moderators. It looks as if it's probably going to go ahead, likely with a new moderator to take care of it. Applicants for moderators are not needed, so don't ask. ;)

You seriously thought I seriously thought you'd take my application seriously!? :P

As for the top part - at least you've explained your reasons. Dave Worley does not argue with reasonable people. Honest.
