Also, is it possible to have taxis in the game? Sure they would only be able to hold a few passengers but for short inter-city runs they could be cost effective.

Yes Matt, I thought about taxis too ... just so I could have a few cars zooming around my motorway systems!

I figure we can safely dispense with one of the buses and replace it with a taxi - so taxis are sitting on my ToDo list.

There again, someone else could get their act together quicker than me, so you never know - a cabbie.grf could appear at any moment!

Also, I know there is a Soviet vehicle set but is there a Soviet train and aircraft set?

There's Grigory1's Russian Planeset, I don't know of a Soviet train set.

Train with rocket engines? Now that's something cool!

That Being plane is already...sort of, you've got the Concorde.

By the way, I should've pointed this out earlier, but the pics I provided are just an example of what I'd like to see created for OpenTTD. The Links I've posted have many more vehicles there too.

A-ha! Thanks for that taxi link BeSt-Com, I didn't know about that!

The yellow cab and motorbike are pretty good, though I might have a go at tweaking their speeds up around 100-150, so they zoom around more, and overtake the trucks and buses on my motorways ...
