I am addressed(paid) to Administration of a forum!

I ask to check up this information, as there are doubts in reliability of the facts:

1 - the file opentdd707.rar on a site no
2 - on a site the scanner of viruses is established
3 - the archival file (OpenTTD_7007.rar) today was checked up by an antivirus such as Norton Antivirus - any traces it is not revealed
4 - how it is possible to hide a virus in a file GRF???

If this message false - I ask of the author of the letter to punish, and message to remove!

Yours faithfully to the visitors of a forum and site.

Punishment goes a bit far. A lot of virus scanners give false positives.

NOD32 with all scanning options enabled detects nothing. What anti-virus are you using?

I am currently using Vexira Antivirus from http://www.centralcommand.com site. And sorry for misstype of filename in first post.

A quote from my virial tool log:
"Virus found!

Virus information:
Name: Packed/MoleBox
Removability: not killable

Incident information:
File path: C:\Documents and Settings\kjell bruheim\Mine dokumenter\OpenTTD_7007.rar:OpenTTD.exe

Remove action:skip"

Not a personal attack, just informing.

p.s. It is also commenly known that Norton virustool is crappy (just a tip)

I use AntiVir, ArcaVir, Avast, AVG Antivirus, BitDefender, ClamAV, Dr.Web, F-Prot Antivirus, F-Secure Anti-Virus, Fortinet, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, NOD32, Norman Virus Control, Panda Antivirus, Rising Antivirus, VirusBuster, and VBA32.

Only VirusBuster reports a positive.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

You'd better get security tools from top companies, they make the most bug-free tools. Except Norton.

No virus found.
But if someone is alerted to a virus in something connected to openttd, its only right that they inform the community, no mater how implausible it may seem.

But next time, please make the topic title something like: "My virus scanner X reported a virus in thingy Y that I downloaded." It keeps both options of a real and a false positive open, which is a lot nicer for the author.

We don't remove any posts on this forum unless they're offensive or spam, I'm afraid.

Sergej_S, I think you are being too sensitive :D . But if it's so important a mod. can add "-false alarm" to the title of the topic.

I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you. Spoilers and bodykits are how much of the wall you take with you. Rollcages and windownets are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

Oh and Sergej? You should really consider using a competent packer. The packer you use generates files that are about 20% larger than the UPX-packed versions.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I hate to break it to you, but using more than one virus checker can kill your pc. I know, it happened to me...
Hmm, what should I put here...

You'll have to work harder than that if you want to win the "Most impressive feat of necro-topicing" award.
