Trains are doing "full load" without instructions.

Trains are doing "full load" without instructions.
So, I'm a pretty big TT newbie, since I only now started to do bigger networks and not just A -> B kind of traffic.
I have a network that connects many coal mines that travel to the power plant. All is well, and everything seems to be working, but for some reason the trains are waiting until they are fully loaded at stations. Right now the orders are just "go to station, go to powerplant, go to depot" and no "full load". What's causing this? I want the trains to move fast and not lose time, if they get 300 tons, great, if there's only 30 tons waiting, grab it and go, no point in waiting forever.
Thanks in advance.

90, 153, 160 tons a month. I don't know if that's a lot, but it's not a small amount I guess. Any way to force the trains to leave the station and just take what's there when the train arrives?
Another thing. In my last game I noticed that when a new train arrives to a raw material industry, it leaves immediately because the station starts to "produce" stuff after there's an active train. But in the new game if a train arrives to a new station, it waits until it's fully loaded, even the first time. What's going on? What am I missing here?

hmm, that ain't that much. Was thinking about 500+ tons a month.OhYeah wrote:90, 153, 160 tons a month. I don't know if that's a lot, but it's not a small amount I guess. Any way to force the trains to leave the station and just take what's there when the train arrives?
Yep, a savegame would be nice.PikkaBird wrote:Some screenshots or saved games may be helpful.
In my experience, if there is cargo at a station a train it will load until there is none left at the station OR the train is full. Now this sounds fair enough, but if the train is just preparing to leave and more cargo turns up at the station it will load that in too so it might be by chance that the train fills up completely.

Not exactly ... trains load quicker if they can fit entirely into the station. If the train is longer than the station it takes longer to longer to load.OhYeah wrote:I didn't use "unload" at the power station in the beginning, it still did that. But longer stations load/unload quicker? Okay that actually makes sense
One other question: if you look at my savegame, can you tell me why trains get stuck in the mainline depots? If I train is coming out of the depot and wants to continue to its destination, it gets stuck behind the red light and also the train just behind him gets stuck behind his red light: nothing is moving at all. This doesn't happen often, but... Why?
Because there's no signal on the mainline between the depot entrance and exit, a train sitting at the depot entrance signal trying to get in will keep the depot exit signal red, preventing the other one from leaving.Bartjeh wrote:But in that case how do they get stuck?
