Sorry when this has been asked before but I've searched the forums and grf tutorial pages for this now for quite a while and haven't found anything that helped.
I try to decode the PlanetSet because I want to play a game with my brother with realistic prices so I want to increase the prices of planes in this set so they get more realistic prices like with trains in DB Set XL. Well but I simply get a file not found error when I try to decode the file although the .grf file is clearly where it should be! I get the same error when using GRF Wizard i.e. Runtime Error "53": File not found since it uses grfcodec just with a graphical interface. See the screenshot attached.
Wahahahaha Thank you for the quick reply... sometimes I am just blind to the most obvious errors! The weird thing is I didn't copy paste the command line but made the same spelling mistake 3 times lol
Ok now I've got the next problem... the prices of planes don't seem to be stored in the .nfo file as I thought. How can I modify how much planes cost in the game?
Well I was told the prices are in the .nfo and I can use NFO Editor to edit them. But the generated .nfo file has like 20 lines only telling me the x y pos of the plane graphics in the pcx file and NFO Editor shows nothing anywhere that's related to the prices or other data of the planes
But I think the idea to make an additional cost modifier is very good so I will try that instead Thanks for the links!
