Documentation for INFO file used in OTTD 32bpp version

Post by MarkyParky »

Hello,

Is there any complete documentation about fileformat of INFO file used in TAR files with 32bpp version of OTTD? It is slightly different than .nfo files that are used in GRF.

Thank you very much for answer.

In relation to this thread, and your post in the other, This is how I stick a new sprite in.

1) Put all files into .tar
2) Stick tar in data folder
3) add '___.tar' into the 'openttd.cfg' under [targfx] rather than [newgrf]

For what should be in the .info file, (wich should be in the .tar) I drew this so I could remeber what each bit does. Its very simple for just shifting things up-down-left-right. I havn't had to do anything more complex than that yet though, so if that is what you are stuck on then this may not help.

Hello,

I already figured out all this stuff, but still thank you for confirmation.

What I was wondering, is if there are some other features and commands like in GRF or if only simple sprite changing is possible (as sergey's pictures in other thread sometimes show features that are possible only with change of industry structure, etc...). I understand from your answer, that only changes of existing graphics without any features can be made.

Thank you..

When this is the case, it's a mock up.
