Overtake Track for Trains

Post by Shrekko »

Could it be possible to make one block for this overtake track so you can put this down in one click. It's useful for tracks with many trains which are going broken down many times.

First, it needs some efficient presignalling, so trains entering the overtake track will give priority to the ones already there, and the ones on normal track need to give priority to the trains entering/exiting the overtake track.

Maybe you didn't saw the signals because they are Dutch but this is with normal signals.

patch called copy&paste is that what you are looking for. Search in OpenTTD Development forum. Or use Mini-IN compilation of OTTD.

Ah, much better. (I'm used to the old yet good ones) The signalling looks good, so I say "good job".
