Metra Madness v1.0

Post by Train-a-Mania »

Chicago 1976:

Chicago desperately needs a commuter rail and road network to transport passengers.

Starting year: 1976
Competitiors: None
Mods: You'll need Plastikman's US and Amtrak packs available at AMI Trains.

I will post some screenshots soon. However, this Steve-O's Chicago map (used with his permission, of course), and he has some screenshots of it.

Enjoy!

EDIT: 1st screenshot added: the Chicago Elevated.

Hint: If you want to build an elevated, build it early on so that you don't need to bulldoze a lot of buildings.

COOOOOOOL! I'm From a Northern Suburb of Chicago, and ride Metra often. Now if only I can find my perpetually lost LoMo CD .

Thanks, Train-a-Mania! As soon as I find my CD, this is going to be SO COOL!

I'm enjoying this scenario atm too - I've never been to Chicago but I remember playing a very good Loop line MSTS scenario not long after MSTS came out. Tried to reproduce it with the feeder routes coming into the loop like in reality, but the trains got stuck, so I will be rebuilding my loop with the feeder lines seperately I think.
