Is there possible to add 'New Game' function into the game when You are holding down that blue floppy disk? It would work so: when You are in temp clime then it crates temp map, if You are in artic then it crates artic clime and so on!
It would be good when someone is searching new game to play. Then You don't need quit every time!

That's a nice suggestion! It would safe exiting and re-entering the main menu.

I've had a go at it, managed to alter the menu and get that working fully again. :)
Today I'll try adding some code for actually trying to start a new game (after you get a warning I would think)...

As of r1374 (fixes / updates r1371) it should be in the 2.5 branch.
It has a warning (yes / no) dialog now also.
