Erm... that's not quite how it works, what you think is not what is right... it is the correct (and also polite) to ask an author to use his graphics before you do, you don't use someone's car without permission do you (Okay bad example but still...)

Exactly. If I *Did* make models and Sergey had taken one of mine without permission I would have liked a formal appology in proper english (either written by himself or with help by a legal representative.)

I would not want it via e-mail or forum board but by a letter and if it was not forthcoming I would begin legal procedings.

Peoples work (graphics) are their own. Even if they are placed on the web, they still belong to the author who, has probably spent weeks if not months without pa=yment creating the graphics.

Copyright theft is still theft and still very wrong. Its things like this Srgey inccident that make grf authors reconsider making them or making them openly avaliable without some form of donation or payment.
