Land of Pyramids

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TT-Forums Friends and Family;

I've just finished my latest scenario called "Land of Pyramids"!

This is gonna be a lot of fun to play. Why? Because, I usually don't place any restrictions
on the scenarios I create, but, in this scenario, I ask you to please don't change the
landscape, and only use the industries that I've already placed!
(Now, the fun starts.) :lol:

If you look at the large screenie and the 'overall' screnie, you'll see pretty much all of
the Pyramids and industries. It's OK to 'tunnel', just don't alter the land.

Also there are no Farms, (Farms in Egypt? Give me a break, He He.) And, the land is flat
except for the areas surrounding the 5 cities in "Land of Pyramids".

OK, can you make money from the desert and with the restrictions? You can, (if you work
hard enough.) Now, get going and become a real Egyptian Tycoon by playing
"Land of Pyramids"! :wink:

Always,
Jim Powers

p.s. Thanks my "All Hail" Buddies, Mr. Geo.c Ghost & Mr. Captain_Kirk76. You kill me!

As I do yours, Jim.

Always a plesure to do something else to help the masses find your work. I know it's not easy to find scenarios in a thread like this, and Lakie had the idea, I'm just happy that, when *I* need one of them, I know exactly where to go :)).

Keep up the landscaping Jim! :)).

Did you remember to remove the _108 from the filename?

Yes, it would appear Jim no longer uses standard GRFs.
I will have to find the new ones :(

My grf & cfg files

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear Members;

I'm posting my config & grf files so that you can know how the industries correlate.
(Remember I'm just a 'regular' not a 'pro'.)
I hope this will assist you in your new fun game, OK? :wink:

#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGC.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGH.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGI.GRF

:shock: those are TTD base files (they should be in your TTD directory)

newgrf/TRKFOUND.GRF
newgrf/SIGNALS.GRF
newgrf/ELRAILS.GRF

those all shouldnt be there. get the ttdpatch base graphics file to get trams, build on slopes, PBS and more! :D

Graphics

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. M3henry;

First, thanks for showing me http://www.ttdpatch.net/newgrf/25/ttdpbasew.zip
I tried to find that ever since it came up on a 'red' sign on the latest Beta.
Now, "newgrf/TTDPATCH.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRG1.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGC.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGH.GRF
#DISABLED#newgrf/TRGI.GRF

Those are TTD base files (they should be in your TTD directory)

newgrf/TRKFOUND.GRF
newgrf/SIGNALS.GRF
newgrf/ELRAILS.GRF

those all shouldnt be there
". As just a 'Reg.' I ask (maybe a dumb question,) Why?

My factories are requiring Wood & Steel, not the original. The Food Processing Plant will only
be getting fish, since there are no farms..........unless TTD places one automatically. 8)

Stitched Map

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TT-Forums Family;

I just 'stitched' 5 parts of Giant screenshots together to get an 'overall' map, WITHOUT
using TTD's overall map. Thus, you can see the complete scenario of "Land of Pyramids"
in one replica full colored, (not just the usual green silhouette) picture! Cool Huh? :wink:

Jim Powers

The graphics in all three of those are contained in one convienient package known as "ttdpbase.grf".
