Military Transport - Development

Post by m4rek »

This an entire landscape, vehicle, industry and cargo replacement set (I assume it is possible to replace cargos...) which puts you in a wartime country, transporting military cargo. I have so far figured out the industries and cargo i want, i will soon attach a chart showing this, and i will calculate income. plz notify me if any of my plan is impossible.

coders and artists will soon be needed, i will do some art, and will try to do some coding.

Also i request planeset people contribute military aircraft in military liveries (eg. the Dakota in military colours) and military aircraft in general...c-130, chinook helicopter, you get the picture

Please and Thank you

I have a few questions for anyone who can answer them...

1) Is there a limit for the number of industries?

2)Is there a limit for cargo acceptance and production of industries?

3)Is it possible to create completely custom cargos?

4)is there a limit on the number of construction stages for industries and other buildings?

5)is it possible to create custom disasters

Note: I will create a web page for this set as soon as i can, and only after this set is confirmed to be plausible

Well, you answered its sixth question quite nicely Hyr, but why'd you skip the seventh? Anyway:
7) Am I expected to read it?
Yes, you are. Preferably at least twice.

Marek: The answers to #1-4 are "Yes", and the answer to #5 is "Only if you write the patch-code to support it".

I'm feeling charitable today, so I'll give you one more chance to ask a Smart Question before I plonk you.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

The AWACS' radar dish needs to be larger. After all, the dish's diamater is wider than the plane's fuselage. You're also missing the white stripe in the middle.

Some of the steamers I drew were actually produced by the War Deparment during WWII (like the NS 5000-II), and others were used during WWI (the French 140C for instance). Do you think you could use them?

yes, any vehicles that are from the war era or used in the military which are already draw etc. should be posted here to be evaluated (and probably used)

as for GameR, i am currently working on the industries that are needed and the cargos, i think your ideas are good and i will incorporate some of them into my ideas...

i have an idea for disaster affecting battlefields/frontlines "ceasefire" :D

i will post with a graph/chart that show industries and cargos

EDIT: i think the dish still needs to be bigger on the plane
