Dont you just hate the music on the game i know i do is there anythin i can do to change it?

My music gets very bad from winamp in TTD, dunno why but it sounds awfull.

Dinges: Probably because TTD uses all the resources.

You can use whatever midi files that you want in the windows version. You replace the contents of one of the midi directories (/awe /gm /fm) with the midis that you want.

note you must keep the same filenames

I posted about this a couple of weeks ago and even posted an alternate set of mids

it would have to be a really old/slow 'puter before ttd could use all the resouces I think

remember it was written to be run on a 386 <4mb

But if you run it in windows mode, Windows is doing all the work.

that was an editor to extract/replace the sound effects in sample.cat
the music in the windows version are simply mids with a different extention
