aircraft grfs

i fell sily askin this but:
is there any guide as to the size of airplanes, because i wana create some grf's byut i draw planes that are to small or too big you know?

anyway i was wonderin this because i dont wana create any more airplane grfs that will 'hit the side of the hanger' etc.
