The .cfg file? [Another Newbie Question]

Discuss, get help with, or post new graphics for TTDPatch and OpenTTD, using the NewGRF system, here. Graphics for plain TTD also acceptable here.

The .cfg file? [Another Newbie Question]

Post by SuperSi »

I've been trying to add new graphics to my game, but can't find what program I need to open the .cfg file to actually add them.
Could anyone give me a pointer?

Thanks.

basicly the CFG file is a ASCII text file with a different file extension. any ASCII or ANSI based text editor will be able to edit it, this includes notepad or wordpad, or any 3rd party or different OS equivalents.
JPG SUX!!! USE PNG!!!
There are times when JPG is useful, TTD screenshots is not one of them. Please use PNG instead.
