I use WinGRF to replace sprites, and it's a great tool, but i can't seem to get it to load the main file trg1.grf. The program's creator, aDe, seems to have abandoned us, so i don't think i can find the answer from him.
The program deadens to a stop after loading about 5000 sprites (50%), and i have no idea how to increase memory for the program to use. Anyone else have this problem, or know what to do?
WinGRF problem loading main file

Use the grfcodec package and grdtogrf.
... Oh, and a competent image editing program. I use GIMP; others suggest InfranView.

To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Problem solved
Apparently i was running out of memory. So i turned Virtual memory on, and it was able to load all the sprites.
