I assume that Michael Blunck's DBXL Set has an element of S-Bahn stuff. He has pretty much everything from the German Rail Network.

Well we could let him draw them because it would look maybe different and have just these trains in the set.

I couldn't find the topic, but there was someone who has drawn some of the s-bahnen from berlin. he has drawn the br167, br485, br481 and br 480. i have the files here (but even the search didn't find anything ;-) )
that's from the file header BS06Berliner S-Bahn 167. (c) BeSt-Com 2004

... some more searching while writing and tada....
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... ahn#212303

and the s-bahn here is very good. you should come and try the other urban traffic (especially @ night and/or underground  )

hope that helps to start with the set. i really would like to see some more of my beloved s-bahnen ;-)
and now you can guess where i'm living *lol*
greetings

oh found something that is only a temporary s-bahn line. would be nice to have it as well in a local-transportation-set :-)

Well, there´s indeed a bit of "S-Bahn stuff" in the DBXL but nothing of the third rail S-Bahn systems found in cities like Berlin, Hamburg or Munich.

AFAIR, that´s one of the Berlin S-Bahn vehicles made by "Bernhard", now "BeSt-Com".

Sorry for the little misunderstanding there, Michael.

That´s alright. Problem is that there´s no straightforward definition of "S-Bahn". (At least not for the TTD realm.)

the site is down ._.
i think, for the real s-bahn feeling you'll need the right railway graphics ^^
i searched, but didn't found anything..
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:S-Bah ... he_481.jpg
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:S-Bah ... he_485.jpg
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:S-Bah ... he_480.jpg
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:S-Bah ... he_477.jpg

also the very old one's and the panorama s-bahn is missing..the s-bahn has also an freight train, but it's very rare..

one more option in the railway-building menu should be build in, i think.. :?:

4 types are drawn and coded.
Unfortunately are there some problems with the dbset (using the IDs...) but it works (load them after the dbset ;) )!
