Thats the first time I've seen anyone use Yahoo since, well... forever.

That plane has long been made obsolete by the Airbus Beluga Anyway, in terms of Length and width, the A380 and the AN-225 both beat it as freight planes.

Only NASA still uses the Super Guppy.

Yeah, still funny sight though. It's one of the most absurd aircraft designs (that actually flew) ever.

Why? It's perfectly practical for it's needs.

Don't confuse absurd with ridiculous looking. If it was an absurd design it would never have gotten into production.

Speaking of the Beluga... it's designed to carry airbus wings to their main assembly plant. So... how did they get the Beluga's wings there?

This is a random muse. There's no need to actually answer it. ;)

But I shall! They simply look the Beluga wings by heavy transporter to the nearby River Dee, the wing then being loaded onto a barge which goes to the Mostyn Docks in North Wales, then a ship takes the wings to the assembly plants in Europe.

So there! :P

so, they designed a new plane, around an old model, so they can modify the old 1 instead of building a new 1, to carry parts of a new plane model they designed???

Airbus designed the Beluga for the same purpose because many fuselage are build at germany and main production is in france.

IIRC it was done a long time ago, but it isn't on the vehicle lists, so it can't be ingame until some serious discussion among the developers to select new vehicles.

If thats the size you intend to put into the game, then thank god Richk67 (he seems to be posting the files, so i assume he created it)'s Interconinental airport is available!

I think that thing might dwarf the standard ones...!
