Post by m3henry »

you know when things are getting hairy around a bad junction and there's going to be train for tea, why not have have a red emergency stop button to stop all trains to avoid a major fireworks show

Why don't you just hit F1 to pause the game and sort everything out?

Of course F1 doesn't do that. All F1 does is pause the game. While paused you can click any vehicle and order it to stop or reverse it's traveling direction.

I've edited the title of this topic by the way. Please use clear topic titles and never use excessive capital characters in a title.

Just to clear things up, I only meant to say F1 pauses the game and that it isn't a emergency stop button. :?

Are you by any chance pressing the F key followed by the 1 key?

If you have a keyboard with an F lock, that has to be on for the F keys to work in TTD.
