it looks pretty good, but I think you have to shorten the "tubes" a little. But otherwise, can't wait till you've modelled the main building :)

Added some roof stuff and a stairset in front. The garage door is done too.

Really cool shape to your house Ichi...and thats some cool progress on the airport. I dont think the ''tubes'' are too long. Ive only walked them once, but i remember them being very long.

The Tarmack texture looks like youve tiled it 4x4 per square, maybe that should be halved, or made slightly more tilable.

When can I move in? :D Lovely bit of architecture there dude.

Whoever said about the textures on the airport, they're really just to give me an idea of gthe finished product, i'm probably going to re-do them, excepting the tarmac, I tiled it less and it does look better :) Might darken it a touch though.

This reminds me, is there perhaps some sorth of material library for artists to use?
You mind if you look at this topic and try your nice material on? Unfortunatelly, I dont have blender here to do it myself.

This material Library topic keeps arizing. I have about 60ish meg of large textures/bump maps that if there is a library i would be happy to stick them in. I dont have the skill to make one...

Does anyone no if the texture that is most commonly used for city street tiles (used on dmh_mac's work) is avaliable anyware?

I disagree that texturing is the harder part. A good model means less texturing...a more basic model, more texturing, so its relative really. Guess it depends in wich area a persons skills are in though.

<edit> Also, In relation to the enormaty of some things with the aim of acurate sizeing, i reliased the american football, and football(soccer) pitch, are going to be masive... 8+ tiles in length... Airports and transport and sort of a different matter, as they are part of your company, but do people think the football grounds should be replaced with something smaller, like a tennis court for example. Or just simply more houses (In relation to an old post.... Tiny hamlets and villages having football stadiums, seems silly, and way too common. So i wouldnt be all sad to see them replaced)

I am not very good at editing wiki but I made a first draft for a texture repository on the basis of the plane site. http://wiki.openttd.org/index.php/Stand ... raphics%29

**edit: Lamoot, I hope you don't mind I used your image as an example...**

can anyone add a contents table at the beginning?

I think we should also have an analogous site for props like the cars that were posted earlier or park benches and the like.

The wiki doesn't allow you to upload ".blend" files, nor ".zip". could that be chhanged?
