Too Many WIP's

the number of WIP's is not bad.

the organisation of the WIP's is bad.

we need a centralised place to put and update all WIP's so that everyone has access to them if they need, and can get the latest if they need.

make something like a .blend download recource, let ppl download the .blend file, look around, and post there conclusions on a special forum...

i can set up the forum in about 3 min if you want that.....

main: graphics renewal
------- buildings
------- trains
------- boats
------- RV's
------- planes
------- depots, trains, misc
------- surroundings

and split that up into threads:-p

but its just a suggestion....

If you're having such trouble organising WIP's, then why not upload a CMS (Content management system) up to some web-space. There are plenty of Free CMS's, and decent organisation would stop people replicating work as well as improve completion.
At least that's my take.

Blender has been run through SVN i think (may have been CVS) for the Orange project.

all blend files were roll-backable.... it would be a good idea to work out that system from the orange team.

unfortunately i don't have the knowledge nor time to impliment such a system, but i would support anyone who were to try.

Well I think they are releasing most of the project orange files soon, so maybe the svn system is included
