hight limit for buildings?

Post by Aracirion »

Is the current size of the Blender render-frame a definite size-limit or can it be adjusted? I'd like to have some really big buildings :D

You can make pretty high buildings, as the TTRS does, but I guess that there is a limit for it somewhere.

I think Aracirion wanted us to help him with camera settings in Blender, not limits in OTTD...

Aracirion, set "Scale" to bigger value. Try one-two units more

the master e:
- the first floor should be different from the other floors, I just haven't modelled it yet. :)

MeusH: both!
- Where do I find that scale field? [edit: solved, thanks MeusH]
- I also wanted to know whether it's allowed to make them bigger, because at present it is bigger than the frame of the template scene

Select the camera and push F9, aka editing tab.

The ground floor of a building is always different. Big doors and large panes of glass, with a ramp to underground parking somewhere round the back.

in artists FAQ, or on the wiki site, is a list of camera scales you are allowed to set.

They all follow the root 2 scales.

double the camera zoom (to 3 or 4 decimals) and double the render size.
