Shouldn't that be s/\ on\ a\ common\ port// ?

I can't talk to it either. Neither HTTP nor ping.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

microcacti, I expect. There are almost more google ads than actual content.

Brianetta: I expect this is not news to you, but the server is running on port 8085, not 80; do you have a firewall blocking that?

We now have a ladder!

We now have a ladder up. The OpenTTD League Ladder

For now you may challange someone and play with agreed rules between yourselves.

Could some developers please help woth admining the ladder it would be great. And Is there some way to moniter the logs of the OpenTTD Server so it can be placed on the internet without all the non useful info (Queried from...) so people can see who won or what-not?

Logs don't show who's winning, so you can't extract that information from them.
It's easy enough to remove the "queried from" bits, however as stated, there's no content in them that you're interested in.

you should write your own tool to extract that information from the save games.

No problems in that regard. It's just that most of the times I (try to) have a look at the site, it's just not there.

And that's exactly what i thought off.
I'm running a server and some kind of stats page would be great.
Maybe even user registering.

Funny thing this OTTD League...

At any rate -
microcacti wrote:...We are currently looking for some help developing a build of OpenTTD that incorporates patches and settings that are better for online compitition playing...
You don't need any too hard looking for a "special" build of OTTD. There is already an improved build of OpenTTD being developed and it's called "The Integrated Nightly Build". It contains all kinds of quality usermade patches. The linq? In my sig.

By the way - the download link from OTTDLeague site isn't working, so I can't even try out your "special build". ?(
