hey everyone,
i was wondering if anyone knew any good sites out there for finding relief (height) maps of atlantic canada.
im asking because i want to make a map of my local area and its abundance of coal mines (like 5 in a 50 square km area). cape breton coal is amongst the most famous of the world. but inorder to make the map i have to find a decent map showing various heights once i get the basic outline of the harbour area and outlying regions i shouldnt have any trouble fixing all the proper heights ( cliffs included). another problem ill have is the making of diagonal roads and how its not possible, the constant small and large turns looks tacky and slows the routes down.
so if anyone can help with any of these topics. that would be greatly appreciated... thanks....

In hopes of making a new map
