How can I decode .exe files?

Discuss, get help with, or post new graphics for TTDPatch and OpenTTD, using the NewGRF system, here. Graphics for plain TTD also acceptable here.

How can I decode .exe files?

If I try do decode an .exe file it says:

try converting to grf with grd to grf then decode as normal.
