Help, muilty line usage?
OKay, I'm not much of a beginner to Locomotion, but I'm having some difficult times with the train lines. I've seen screen shots of other players that have freight trains and passenger trains using the same lines, now when I try this my passenger trains go to my freight stations and my freight trains go to my passenger stations. I've used signals and routes but I'm at a loss.
Any tips, hints, ideas, anything really? I love how they look and I want to use them myself to make my lines better but..

I've tried waypoints, they still go to the wrong station, I've tried signals and still to the wrong station they go, I've checked all my tracks everything works cause other trains can go the same route. I've tried giving them waypoints every few pieces of track and still they go to the wrong station or just plain old get lost.
I'm lost, sadly I don't have a screen shot cause I removed all the trains from the line cause I found this to be far to annoying to keep them.

After setting the orders, make sure your train's position is on the right line of that orders.
See white arrow for that line.
Check that your waypoint really lays on the track, so the train can run over it.
After track change the way points could be lost of track.

Hi. I'm new here so apologies if this has been answered before - although I have read what I can find on this topic, tried to put it into action, and had no joy.
I have the same problem as above: a fairly complex network (in Bottleneck Blues scenario), which I'm pretty certain has correctly constructed junctions and one-way signalling throughout (other than the two-way signals used for platform access). I've also used waypoints as described here - and STILL my trains will not follow the pre-programmed routes: for example, I have a waypoint immediately after a junction saying to go straight on, but the train still takes the diverging path. I've tried (extremely laboriously) deleting all of the route info (stations and way points) for the train, and re-entering them from scratch, but it still won't play.
Any further ideas, or shall I throw my PC out of the window instead?
Thanks in advance.

There are only a few things requiered for taking the right way at a junction.
1. Always only put one-way signals short after the junction.
This to make sure the train can't choose it's own route, only the one
that is ordered.
2. A waypoint-mark just behind that signal.
This can easily go wrong after changing track layout near the waypoint.
3. The right line in the train ordermenu must be highlighted (shown by arrow).
If this is done correct, the train will wait in front of the junction, till it's path is clear.

Thanks, but I've been away from Locomotion for a couple of weeks (work stuff plus playing with class 37s to try and get them ready for their new homes!). Have however saved your tips and will try as soon as I get back to Locomotion - I only need another 4% to win the activity!
Thanks again for all your input and support - much appreciated!
