There are times when JPG is useful, TTD screenshots is not one of them. Please use PNG instead.

who can i poke to get info on how possable it is to get this working?(as in, who are our NewGRF devs?)

The only active newgrf dev I am aware of is peter1138. Belugas may also have some useful knowledge, from his newhouses work. If you want a guide to newgrf.[ch] and related files, talk to one of them.

If you have specific questions about how the NFO code works, talk to me or Patchman. Csaboka is hard to find, but if you can find him, he should know the answers too. All three of us can be found in #tycoon on quakenet.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
