Guesswork, I think.

If you want to find a site about something, most people would try typing in http://www.whatever.com or http://www.whatever.co.uk.

I've got 2 say that SGWebmaster told me about the forums! Don't know how he found out though - probably through ttdpatch.com!

Yes, I actually thought that was Marco, until he said "I've been registered 30 minutes", and thought "huh? Oh, it's not Marco!"

Oh, and how did you find the forums on the web ring, as I only submitted it yesterday and it's not been approved yet? Hmmm, ah well, maybe from another site on the ring I guess. ;)

I know what you mean, i recognise ppl by their avatar and i get really confused when we all change around!

Welcome to the forums Alan, and read the manual ;)

Oh and i found this place thru Owens site about a few months ago - i had finally gotten the patch to work and i was looking around Owens site for a new version of TTDalter... Those were the days

There's someone else with this avatar, hmmm!!

I use this one on all the forums and don't have any others worth displaying. This could get fun if we both post in the same thread.

As for finding the site I am almost positive it was through the web-ring, but I may have found the link on a different site already on the ring. Anyways, I'm here now and intend to be for some time!!

No, because they'd have had to add code to this site. I added webring code to the home page a couple of days ago, and it's still pending approval.

No, actually since it's not on the webring it might have been through Owen's site which I found on the Ring. There had to be something to it!
