he posted a broken link (because the forum doesn't know what to do with brackets), the correct one should be:

http://wiki.openttd.org/index.php/Rail_Vehicles_(New_Graphics)

hmmm apparently url is turned off? or something? probably needs to have the ( ) replaced by codes, but can't be arsed to do so ;)

Did a wood truck. Though I think the lack of textures makes it look quite dull.

There will be no limits in the new versions.

However, he recommended you to focus on re-doing TTD vehicles, and adding new models later, when replacing work will be done.

Great work! Really, everything looks grate. Other then...

That didn't look good at all, and i'm afraid textures won't save you. What they are chopping is fir, not palms. They have branches sticking out all the way up the log itself, and those are not chopped round before the sawmill, and that's what you are transporting to now. You'd have to make semi-chopped branches sticking out everywhere, just the stumps of them. Like...

Of course in a larger scale, but you get what i mean.

Actually, they have to shave the tree of branches at the site they are cut down at for easy transportation. Then they go to the Sawmill to be sawn into planks.

Well, first of all, I really just added them so people could see what it might look like, as the wagon by it self looked very bare.
Secondly, from what I have seen here in Sweden, they have machines that remove all the branches from the log, and this is done at the same time as they cut the tree down. They rarely seem to cut trees down by hand here.

Anyway, I can agree that they need more work, but the logs where never ment to be final. I figured that someone would make a "standard" log, and we would all use that one.

I've seen an automated logger at work... it strips the branches of a 50ft tree in under 20secs, and what comes out is bark-less and reasonably smooth. Frankly on our models, a wood-grain texture will look fine.

Most people would answer you "when it's done". I'd say - it is unknown
