I believe it has been decided that the Company Color crash is caused by having the locomotiongui switch off. If you turn it on, I believe the problem goes away. I may be wrong.

I have a very strange problem and a possible fix for that (until stevenh fixed it). With a "modified" or even no title.dat file and tram switch on i always got zero population for towns at a new game. with the original title.dat file there is no problem with the new tram feature switched on. so anyone else with this "bug" should try to use the original title.dat.
stevenh knows about this problem and tries to fix it.

I have a game with a very strange bug. If I try to build a tram station at a certain place on the map, the game locks up and crashes. I'll see if a crash file was made, post that and my configs and the save. I'll try to upload a screenie of the crash positioning. It's not the absolute location on the map, as a similarily placed tram station in another game does not produce a crash.

[EDIT] My crashes have grown steadily worse. They started happening when I selected the station-building tool for the trams, then the tram toolbar, and one just happened randomly. I'll post my latest crashlogs in the next post; it's the same game but further advanced in years, same configs.

The cursor points to the location that I get a crash in. I believe I have also gotten a crash on the tile northeast of that one. Perhaps it is the stadium?

I've got a strange bug report from one of my friends who doesn't speak English. Since the bug goes away if I turn trams off, I guess it's caused by the tram code.

After loading the game, try buying a road vehicle in the depot you see there, and start it. Then try sending it back to the depot. It will either say it doesn't find the depot or it won't enter it even if it says it found it. When you disable the trams switch, the problem goes away and RVs find their depots correctly. My friend said it happens in certain towns only, so it may work fine elsewhere on the map.

Update!:
-Depot finding bugs fixed.
-Town building repaired.

FlameLord: Your crashes seem to be related to the AI Rail Planning code... I don't know if this has since been fixed, but I'm not having any issues with AI here. Could you update me on the situation?

I have since given up on that game (but not deleted it), so I will see soon if the crashes are still occuring. The random crashes have not happened in any other game but that, so I don't know exactly what caused them.

In unrelated matters, this bug seems to be related to the trams coding in some way.

Another bugs:
1. A tram can pass through the back side of a depot.
2. (I don't know if is a tramset trouble or a patch bug) Trams can be builded in normal road depots.

If I found or remember more, I will edit my post, so watch this :P.

EDIT: A71 and config, forgeted it :x.

Ok, I never thought that would happen...
It's a know bug that if you have two U-Turns next to eachother [ =)(= ], the trams can jump as if it was a straight track... this must also apply to depots.

This is just something I haven't gotten around to yet, it's not so much a bug, just laziness on my behalf.

That's no bug. :!:
It's a feature.

Odd bug: Towns tend to make tram track branches in stead of road branches (nothing new you'd say) but they look REALLY awkward..

Is that alpha 71? and do you have the _latest_ GRF from the ttdpatch site?
I have a hunch the next alpha will be out shortly... so give that a try when it does come out.

You will also need to make sure you have the latest trams GRF!

Can you start a fresh game?
Get some money, turn the gamespeed right up (pressing 'E' with gamespeed=on) and make some towns expand (use cht:money 99999999).

And see what happens...
Otherwise, try trashing those roads that are erroneous and just build them again. I really don't believe that this should be happening anymore! :x

Marius wrote:...If you first build a road (not tram) depot, build tram tracks in front of/near this, and then connect the two and put tramtracks over the road depot: you get +4 something BILLION dollars, and then this shows up positive under the "construction"-part in the finances overview, but shows up negative in the "Total".
Finally got around to this bug.... repaired.
Now I just need to neaten up the GUI and then tackle level crossings.

Please attach a saved game....
The only time I can make this happen is when I play Megarail or Scotland... which have random data, still, in L3.
As far as I can tell... I can't get the AI to screw up level crossing removal on fresh games...
