The first one (SCR8) is with bridges, but it is actually the first REAL junction I made in TTD. It isn't able to handle long trains, but upscaling seems possible to me.
The second one (SCR10) is (I think) better, because there are no bridges. It does, however, use crossing tunnels, which I have always regarded as a cheat. This one also has limited capacity regarding long trains. It has also a little more detailed signalling than the first one.
These junctions don't look too bad, however you might run into trouble with trains running into wrong directions because of the two-way signals at the beginning of the junction. Perhaps setting up some waypoints is necessary there.

@paijm021: Do you actually have anything else than rails and landscape on your map? Looks a bit over the top to me, and it certainly won't work when you try playing a mountaineous map.

For the love of god, make those into links, they stretch the tables... well, at least it was the last post on that page.

And how do you get 900 trains? The limit is 240 :| (How do you manage to fit 900 trains into a map, anyway? I'd like to see your savegame. XD)

I didn't run into any problems, but you might be right.
BTW I really love your railway building and signalling guide, I've just looked into it and its great.

This is my biggest and most advanced crossover I have ever made!

The idea with this crossover, was to make it possible for a train to come from one direction and choose to drive 7 directions without crossing other tracks (exept from tunnel and bridge crossing, ofcourse). 7 entrance tracks from 8 different directions ends up in 7 different exit tracks in 8 directions.

I will attach a big PNG-file and a save file (sorry for using a OpenTTD nightly build (r3135), which may cause problems opening it with other versions)...

Edit: Crossover, not junction... hope no one will punish me for not posting a junction...

I wouldn't really call that a junction.. the most interesting part (the splitting/merging of tracks) is completely absent in that image... it's just a nicely ordered collection of completely indepented tracks..

You are right, rather a giant and advanced crossover or something...

I am also trying to make an even more advanced and maybe better crossover now, in the middle of a 2048*2048 map, 14 tracks to every direction, and three spaces between the tracks... I will upload it to the forum, and maybe someone would be interested in using it, start building a giant railroad system with the crossover in the middle, and straight tracks to the end of the map in all 8 directions.

The bad thing is, that I am going to use the integrated nightly build again (r3090I4.5, because I can level the terrian and demolish diagonally, which will save me really much time). So they who are interested in testing it, will need that version.

As amazing as it is, I can't see any practical use for something that big, at least not in TTD (perhaps using that much space on one of OTTDs amazing, mega maps is okay ;))

Yeah, I know (maybe a little bit off-forum, but but...). It is actually made on a 256x256 map, and it uses about 1/5 of the map. :o And I did not even build it on the middle of the map, actually its build too close to the right corner of the map.

Unfortunatly, it's an OTTD savegame, posted in the TTD forum... You can't load it in TTD.

I have just made a new, maybe even more advanced crossover (128x128 squares crossover on a 2048x2048 squares map).

The pictures shows hardcore testing of the crossover with 280 trains (each with 4 eurostar engines and 24 armoured vans). Every track is tested with 5 trains, all 8 directions have 7 tracks each way, but the tracks are so far away from each other that tunnels with one track between the tunnels can be built.

Now it is time to use the tracks for real traffic, that would be sweet!

I am using the OpenTTD integrated nightly build r3090I4.5.

Better that he makes big junctions than spam on the boards, meaning more work for you moderators. :)
