i've restructured this station more times than i can remember, and the total cost of such is easily into the 100's of millions (thats not including cost of raising/lowering land)

it has 257 trains going through it, the only ones that dont are oil trains as it isnt close enough to the sea for a refinery

excists of single lines. In fact, i don't even have signals, no junctions at all

Just thought i'd post my acheivements as a grand slam for joining up as a noob to this awesome joint.
Hope it brings people to admire it

I've been a mega fan of the Original TTD since ppl were linking their comps with serial coms  lol.

N E hoo hope i'm not breaking n e rules by posting a few piccies or some other random thing.

Ciao
SkiDaDDlE

PS: The file actually makes my comp run a lil chunky (historic-school AMD 1800+ etc..). Hence i prob. should have not chosen the largest map available...

I have deciphered an intersection of my own after many years of lol "playing around". The latest type I like to call it the H Combination, as you can see for it's type of eye-candy. It's purpose is to allow trains to change tracks with minimum bottlenecki

I generally stick to iron ore/factory industies cause they're the most inter-related industries. Meaning you can get the most out of your transportation system. Or something :P

The other side of the map. Impressive $5m per steel train/year, $14m per goods train/year. Total almost $2bil surplus.

The funny thing is that i couldn't be bothered connecting grain/livestock yet. :S

There's something wrong with the plane on the runway in Korsakoff3.png

webfreakz.nl: At least they're queueing evenly for the platforms. Perhaps they get filtered into platform lanes somewhere off to the left hand side?

A pic of the best network i have made in openttd. 67 trains make use of it so it is getting a bit crowded at the moment.

Here is a view of my network on the largest map size. My network is comperativly small; however, it brings in the money and i have been working on growing the cities near my main station. I have one main station where all things are brought and then other trains bring goods to the near by towns. Lots more to do though.

Why wouldn't it be? Every train has its own little sandbox to play around in and if one decides to break down, the others won't be affected. If you look at the pictures, it is only the tracks that are independent, but stations are heavily shared, so it's not like the AI's 'A to B for every train' kind of network.
